A sweet sadness descends on this landscape, as the sun sets and the day, finally, comes to an end. The landscape’s beauty is still slightly touched with a lingering weariness and the subtle but dull tones of the mundane. A momentary tranquil harmony pervades the location as the patterns of the sky and the earth seem to align a bit more. A moment extended in and out of time that TS Eliot refers to as a ’still point’; a moment where paradoxes are reconciled.
